I. Purpose
This policy aims to:
Establish a clear and consistent framework for member promotions.
Recognize and reward outstanding performance and contributions.
Encourage member growth and development.
Align promotion decisions with the Fleet's strategic goals.
II. Eligibility
All members of the Freedom Fighter Fleet are eligible for promotion, provided they meet the following criteria:
Performance: Consistently exceeding performance expectations in their current role, demonstrating the ability to perform at the next level.
Training: Possessing the necessary training and qualifications for the target position. This includes completing any required courses or programs, such as NCO Training for Corporal, OCS Training for Officer, etc.
Commitment: Showing a strong commitment to the Fleet's values, mission, and goals.
Tenure: Time in the community is a requirement for promotions. You can view this in
III. Promotion Process
The promotion process will involve the following steps:
Identification of Potential Candidates: Squad Leaders and Commanders will identify high-performing members who demonstrate potential for advancement.
Performance Review: A comprehensive review of the candidate's performance, including their achievements, contributions, and development areas.
Training Verification: Confirmation that the candidate has completed all necessary training and qualifications for the target position.
Commander Approval: The candidate's direct Commander will recommend the promotion based on the assessment results.
Fleet Council or Command Review: The Fleet Council or Command, composed of the Branch Commander, Department Commander, Secretary of Defense, and High Command, will review the recommendation and ensure compliance with Fleet policies.
NCO Promotions, Fleet Council shall include at least: Branch Commander & Secretary of Defense.
Officer Promotions, Fleet Council shall include at least: Secretary of Defense & at least 2 members of High Command.
Normal Promotions, Fleet Council shall include at least: Branch Commander.
Commander Promotions, Fleet Council shall include ALL Council Members.
Final Approval: The final decision on promotion will be made by the Fleet Commander.
Database Logging: All approved promotions must be logged in the official Fleet database. This step is mandatory for a promotion to be considered official and recognized. This allows us to track the date of the promotion.
IV. Promotion Criteria
Promotions will be based on the following criteria:
Performance: Consistent exceeding of performance expectations, demonstrated through measurable results and positive feedback.
Training: Completion of all required training and qualifications for the target position, demonstrating the necessary knowledge and skills.
Leadership: Ability to motivate and inspire others, foster teamwork, and drive results.
Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration and clear direction.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and analyze problems, develop creative solutions, and implement them effectively.
V. Promotion Restrictions
Maximum Promotion Jump: A member's promotion cannot exceed two positions higher than their current respective position without the explicit approval of a member of the High Command.
VI. Review and Revision
This policy will be reviewed and revised periodically to ensure its continued relevance and effectiveness in promoting member growth and development.
VII. Exceptions
This policy may be subject to exceptions in specific cases, based on the unique circumstances and needs of the Fleet. Such exceptions will be reviewed and approved only by members of the High Command.
VIII. Positions with Promotion Authority
The following positions have the authority to promote members within the Freedom Fighter Fleet:
High Command
Secretary of Defense
Branch Commanders
Generals/Admirals (within their respective branches)
Head Secretary and his/her staff of Directors or Managers in the Administrative Department
IX. Disclaimer
This policy is intended to provide general guidelines for member promotions. It does not guarantee a promotion to any member. Promotion decisions will be based on individual merit and the Fleet's overall needs.
X. Communication
All members will be informed of this policy and its provisions. Any questions or concerns should be directed to the Fleet Council or Command.
This policy is effective as of December 27, 2024 and supersedes any previous policies regarding member promotions.
