JAG Policy
Applied to: Empire Wide (Fleet Wide) except Community Outreach.
The Basis: The judicial branch plays a crucial role in protecting the rights of the people. The JAG Court is responsible for ensuring that laws are constitutional and that individual rights are upheld. The judiciary also plays a vital role in maintaining the rule of law, particularly when hearing grievances from minority groups or those who may hold unpopular views. The Constitution guarantees every person accused of wrongdoing the right to a fair trial before a competent judge. This shall be held up by the following Articles.

UCMJ Law Article I.
Subject I. (Definition & Applicable Boundaries)
The Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) is the foundation of the military justice system in the Freedom Fighter Fleet Empire. Thus, It was enacted upon creation of the Judicial System of Freedom Fighter Fleet.
Applicable Boundaries are defined as the means to add onto and or remove laws from the UCMJ or other means of court. This is done through a variety of methods that is requested by the Head Judge.
Approval of High Command
Voting the law into play by the masses support
Emergency Enaction
Approval of High Command:
The Head Judge can request High Commands presence on a manner that concerns his/her's duties to be reasonably be fulfilled. Thus, All that the Head Judge needs is a Majority Vote from High Command to enact a law to be covered under the policy.
Voting into Law:
Voting into Law is defined by the ability to present a motion (or law) to the masses in a form of a vote it can be passed with or without High Commands approval unless the President or Vice President overturns the law for whatever means that is provided.
Emergency Enaction:
This method is violent, It gives the sole discretion to Head Judge to create law under the basis of a immediate/pending threat to the community. This does NOT grant absolute authority as the means to enact this is strict.
Subject II. (Requesting a Clause)
Requesting a Clause:
A clause is requested by a ranking official whether it be Administrative or otherwise by contacting a audience with the Head Judge.
What will be needed?
Clean written letter.
A Date & Time to converse (Unless otherwise agreed)
Department/Division/Operational Area Name Listed
The name of the Requestee.
What is deemed a acceptable clause?
MUST adhere to the rights of the people.
MUST be detailed
MUST explain why
MUST explain the need
MUST explain the importance
MUST not violate policy/law
A acceptable clause MUST meet the standards listed above.
A Clause is a special agreement within reason of the law and policy between the requestee and the Judicial System. This will serve as a special law between for example, Defense Force and the Judicial System. The Clause should NOT violate law or policy.

Open Door Article I.
Subject I. (Parameters)
This articulates the ability to the masses to have the ability to circumvent leadership under certain parameters. Such as but not limited too, A abusive leader.
The following parameters are as followed:
Abusive Actions or Responses.
Failure to provide adequate results upon decision making.
Failure to adhere to proper evidence provided.
Threats or Promises to inflict damage to membership.
Subject II. (Member Limits)
This limits the ability of the member or group of members. This is stipulated to stop circumvention of the entire Chain of Command regardless of Operations Area and going straight to Higher Authority. A member MUST follow this order:
Go to the next Commander or Administrator in line of succession.
Do NOT go above higher than one Commander, Administrator, and or Leader at a given time.
MUST give the Leader, Administrator, or Commander time to remedy the problem provided to them.
Should the Commander, Administrator, or Leader also violate Open Door Article I. Subject I. then the process of Open Door Article I. Subject II. applies.
Open Door Article II.
Subject I. (Violations)
Violations equal punishments, This goes without saying that any person that violates the Open Door Article I.shall be subsequently punished by default when the matter is proven as this violates the rights bestowed to the masses. Punishments shall be issued in the following format:
NOTE: Additional Punishments are allowed.
Warning
Warning w/24hr Suspension
72hr Suspension
Warning w/1week Suspension
Banishment/Kick (At the discretion of the higher authority at that time)
Subject II. (Balancing Violations)
Violations are ego crushers. But, everyone deserves a chance of redemption. So this is how it is accomplished.
Warning 1 Month reset time.
Warning w/24hr Suspension 1 month for 1st Violation will be reset/Start over 1 month 2 weeks added for 2nd Violation (Totaling 2 Months 2 Weeks reset time)
72hr Suspension 2 months 2 Weeks for 2nd Violation will be reset/Start over 1 month added for 3rd Violation (Totaling 3 Months 2 Weeks reset time)
Warning w/1week Suspension 3 months 2 Weeks for 3rd Violation will be reset/Start over 1 month 1 week added for 4th Violation (Totaling 4 Months 3 Weeks reset time)
Banishment or Kick This is handled by discharge severity, Each Commander, Leader, or Administrator will issue discharge with their own conditions.
NOTE: High Command can reset these times for a individual for good behavior should they show genuine care and willingness to help.
Member Rights Article I.
Subject I. (Rights)
Rights are assigned to a member upon joining the community. These rights CANNOT be violated. Rights are generally in a form of a Constitution that Freedom Fighter Fleet offers.
Subject II. (Rights Violation)
A rights violation is simple, A persons rights were violated at that time. So, What does this mean? It means that whatever punishment or activity cannot be held against them.
Defense Force Branch Transfer Policy (Brian Policy)
Article 1: Purpose
This policy outlines the procedures and guidelines for members of the Defense Force seeking to transfer between branches.
Article 2: Definition of Brian Violation
A Brian Violation occurs when a member of the Defense Force attempts to switch branches without obtaining the required approval from the branch commander.
Article 3: Eligibility for Branch Transfer
Members are eligible to request a branch transfer under the following conditions:
Initial Joining Period: Members are eligible to transfer within the three-week period following their initial enlistment.
Rank/Rate Advancement: Members are eligible to transfer upon reaching the rank/rate of E4, regardless of their enlistment date.
Article 4: Transfer Request Procedure
Submission of Request: Members wishing to transfer branches must submit a formal written request to their current branch commander.
Command Approval: The branch commander will review the request and may require additional information or documentation.
Branch Approval: The branch commander will issue a decision on the request, which may be approved, denied, or require further review.
Transfer Process: If approved, the member will be transferred to the new branch according to established procedures.
Article 5: Appeal Process
If a branch commander denies a transfer request under eligible circumstances, the member has the right to appeal the decision. The member may seek assistance from either the Director of the Judicial System or the Secretary of Defense. If the appeal is successful, the member may transfer to the desired branch without the branch commander's approval.
Article 6: Consequences of Brian Violation
Members who attempt to transfer branches without following the established procedures will be subject to disciplinary action, which may include:
Formal reprimand
Loss of privileges
Reduction in rank
Discharge from the Defense Force
Article 7: Review and Revision
This policy will be reviewed and revised as necessary to ensure its effectiveness and compliance with Defense Force regulations.
